1.0 Code of Conduct
The Porters Lake Taekwondo Parents’ Association (PLTPA) Code of Conduct, in accordance with the Taekwondo Canada Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy, promotes a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all participants involved in Taekwondo activities. Please review the Code of Conduct annually and bring forward any concerns that might arise.
1.01
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the Tenets of Taekwondo, which are courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and respect, by encouraging fair play, good sportsmanship, and adherence to rules and policies.
Members must treat athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and other families with respect, avoid criticism, harassment, or intimidation, and support conflict resolution without hostility or violence.
Members must help maintain a safe and ethical sport environment by discouraging cheating, substance use, or inappropriate behaviour, respecting officials’ decisions, and promoting the well-being, dignity, and enjoyment of all participants.

Members of the PLTPA will contribute to a positive and collaborative environment by respectfully offering suggestions and feedback, and by actively listening to and considering the ideas and perspectives of others.
